Hi-Rez Designs was founded in 2008 as a company specializing in visual effects for film, TV, and independent productions.

In 2009, Hi-Rez Designs began creating original content for many of the leading theme parks across the country. It was soon there after, the company was regularly being commissioned to create custom visual effects for multiple haunted attractions.

Developing state-of-the-art visual effects and circuitry to control animatronics create a more 'interactive' environment, Hi-Rez Designs quickly became the leader in innovative technology throughout the Halloween / Haunted Attraction industry. It was this ongoing technology improvement that led to Hi-Rez Designs creating the Hi-Rez Relay Decoder, a device design to bridge-the-gap between video and a wide range of controllable pneumatics, actuators, lighting, and many other devices. Hi-Rez Designs was the FIRST and ONLY company to create this ability in the haunt industry - perfectly synchronized control with video connected to multiple additional devices.

In 2010, Hi-Rez Designs made the bold decision to branch out into new an un-established territory, creating special visual effects products that could be easily used and affordable for any 'home haunter'. Now, the same wildly popular visual effects products Hi-Rez Designs was well known for in the professional haunt arena, 'home haunters' could have for their own home setup.

Since then, the company has continued to regularly release new spectacular visual effect creations, products, and equipment keeping up with high demand of the latest technology - all at affordable prices.

Although at first glance, Hi-Rez Designs appears to only work directly with the haunt industry, but that is not the case.

The company has established long lasting working relationships and clients list with many different companies ranging from Bars / Restaurants, Museums, Escape Rooms, Non-Haunt Attractions, Theme Parks, Themed Businesses, Retail Stores, Hotels & Casino creating everything from custom animatronics & visual effects to gorgeous digital signage.
